Environmental Stresses in Crop Sciences (Env. Stresses Crop Sci.) is a Double-blind peer review journal published by the University of Birjand. The main language of the journal is Persian (with extended abstracts of articles in English) which is published only electronically with no paper version.
This journal its deals with to the important and basic topics related to environmental (abiotic) stresses and crops performances  by providing a high-quality evidence base for scientists, managers and policymakers; and Increasing the scientific ability of specialists, researchers, students and those interested in the field of environmental (abiotic) stresses in agriculture.In this journal, fundamental and applied studies are reviewed in the form of full papers and short scientific reports, as well as comprehensive reviews in the scopes of the journal.

This journal was published under the title of Environmental Stresses in Agriculture Sciences until the second period (2020) and since then, according to the decision of the scientific publications commission, it has been renamed Environmental Stresses in Crop Sciences. The publication order of the magazine has been changed since the 9th issue (2016) from semiannual (two issues per year) to quarterly (four issues per year).

The manuscripts accepted for publication in this journal should not be published in another journal. Also, articles should not be submitted to any other journal for publication at the same time. In addition, articles based on limited and brief data are not accepted. All articles will be carefully evaluated in two stages by members of the editorial board and qualified reviewers. The articles submitted to the journal must meet the criteria of the journal and must be prepared in full accordance with the guidelines for the authors. The journal is free to reject, accept, edit, and revise articles.
